About the preschool

The daycare Yttersta Tvärgränd Economic Association, or Preschool Elvan as we call ourselves, has been run as a staff cooperative since 1993. We are eight members of the association, who also sit on the board and work at the preschool. We have one employee who is our cook.

Our preschool is located on the culturally protected street Yttersta Tvärgränd, with roots dating back to the 18th century, just a stone's throw from Skinnarviksparken. The preschool has large spacious premises and a fantastic yard with trees, hills, greenery, and plenty of space for developing and challenging play. The preschool consists of two departments with 16 - 19 children in extended sibling groups aged 1–5 years.

The preschool's activities are based on the City of Stockholm's guidelines and the Curriculum for Preschool Lpfö18.

About the role

We are now looking for a childcare worker/resource/assistant for a child with autism at Elvan. The position is in a child group and involves working with special support for one child. You will be part of a team together with four other experienced educators.

The position is 50% scheduled for afternoons. There is an opportunity to work as a substitute in the mornings if needed.

To succeed in the role, we see that you

· Have experience working in a child group

· Have knowledge of the preschool's governing documents

· Have current CPR training for children

· Have good personal suitability

· Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders and autism spectrum is an advantage

We have a collective agreement through Fremia.
